Housekeeping

Housekeeping positions available are offered at $16/hour

Canby Grove is looking to hire reliable, hard-working individuals, 16 years of age or older, to join its Housekeeping staff for the spring, summer and fall seasons. This is an hourly position that offers up to 40 hours a week. Experience is welcomed, but not required.

Housekeeping duties include, but are not limited to, pulling linens and trash from sleeping rooms and bathrooms, making beds, dusting, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and hard surfaces, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors, Laundry including wash/dry, fold and some ironing. Deep cleaning may also be required as needed. Staff must be able to work on their feet and lift job related supplies up to 40 lbs.  Shift days and hours will vary depending on programming needs, guest group size and schedules. Canby Grove is open 7 days a week and offers morning, afternoon and evening shifts.

Kitchen Services

Kitchen staff positions available
are offered at $15/hour

Canby Grove Christian Center is looking to hire part-time wait staff and dishwashers, 16 years old or older, for its spring, summer and fall seasons. This is an hourly position that offers up to 40 hours a week.

Wait Staff will clean and prepare the Dining Hall and/or any event facilities used before and after each meal and serve the needs of our camp guests during meals. Wait Staff will also assist our Head Chef and cooking staff in the kitchen as needed.

Applicants must have an Oregon Food Handlers Certification, be able to maintain Oregon Health Codes when handling and storing foods, have a friendly, outgoing personality and be able to work
well in a team environment. Everyone 18 and over will need to pass a background check.
