Activities at Canby Grove

The wooded setting at Canby Grove not only offers great sleeping, meeting and dining facilities, but outstanding recreational opportunities as well. Situated on the Molalla River, we also offer fishing and paddle boating in the "Water Sports Arena." A heated/ lighted pool is available next to our sand volleyball courts. The paved volleyball and basketball courts are a popular destination as is the full-sized baseball diamond. Horseshoes, Ping-Pong, carpetball and Foosball are some other options.  We can also arrange to bring in portable activies anad inflatables on-site, i.e. inflatable joust, sumo wresting, dunk tank, mechanical bull.

If you are interested in some less active recreation, why not browse in our museum or take home some history from our Bistro/Giftshop? There are many quiet places to sit and meditate, or take a walk on one of our maintained hiking trails. A playground area is located centrally for your children's diversion.

Professional Full Length Athletic Field

A beautiful new soccer field has just been put in at Canby Grove. Complete with regulation size soccer goals, and lines painted on the field, this is the perfect place for any game. Come enjoy playing soccer, frisbee, or anything that needs a lot of space!

Challenge Course

Need some group unity? Wanting to bring your team closer together? Great for jr. highers, high schoolers, and adults of all ages, our challenge course will break down barriers and build great bonds within your group. Spend a half day, full day, or multiple days working through the different elements on our course and you will see a difference in your group. Our Challenge Course is a low ropes course, and will definitely challenge you to think, communicate and work together well. Canby Grove supplies facilitators to take your group through the course and to get the most out of your experience.
