undergo a rigorous screening process that includes an intensive interview and a criminal background check. Before they work with your camper, our counselors are trained on the needs of each age
group and specifically prepared to take on the unique challenges of camp-related situations.

Discovery Outfitters is a leading Northwest adventure ministry team that offers comprehensive wilderness experiences and training with an exceptional reputation for safety. The Discovery Outfitter certified guides team-up with Canby Grove’s resident counselors to provide the right ratio of camper to counselor for outstanding personal attention and teaching. Discovery Outfitters is immovable on safety. With over 50 years of combined experience, Discovery Outfitters guide's have extensive training and certification with top National and International Associations.
