More than a year since its formal closure after 82 years of operation, Canby Grove Conference Center is returning energetically to life under new ownership, and a new name – Canby Grove Christian Center.

Our vision is to impact the spiritual atmosphere in the Northwest through Christ centered retreats and through night and day prayer. 

October 2010 Jump-In Northwest entered into talks with the Canby Grove Board of Directors moving towards an eventual purchase of the Canby Grove Conference Center. Jump-In NW leased the center and it’s 600+ beds starting in November 2010 and began hiring staff to continue the mission of using the facilities for groups to use for retreats, meetings, and conferences. Over the past year we hosted over 60 groups ranging in size from 25 to 400 people, all of which have rebooked for next year. Although we are going through extensive renovations we are experiencing a 100% rebooking rate. Jump-In is committed to provide retreat facilities and a well trained staff to serve outside groups for retreats, trainings, and spiritual growth. In addition we are working on establishing a day and night house of prayer where worship and intersession are mingled together for the region, nation, and the world. We are looking for people to join with us in this mission by being part of a worship team or participating in prayer. We are planning on starting our day and night house of prayer in January, 2012. During its first seven decades, Canby Grove was owned by the Pacific Northwest Conference of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, but became a stand-alone organization in 2000.  We feel privileged to step in to the rich legacy the CMA has left, and we humbly look forward to serving the Northwest in the future.
